About the role
HelloYes Marketing is seeking a highly organised and dependable Office Assistant to support daily office operations and staff. The role combines traditional administrative duties with driving responsibilities, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service for internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Handle filing, generate reports and presentations, set up meetings and reorder supplies.
- Manage debtor invoicing, track client payments and follow up on supplier payments.
- Conduct office grocery shopping, maintain consumable inventory and manage petty cash reconciliations.
- Administer company assets, record meter readings and prepare materials for client meetings.
- Answer incoming calls, greet visitors, collect them from reception and provide refreshments.
- Maintain filing systems for customers and partners, update paperwork and manage documents.
- Plan appointments, meetings, conferences and office events; ensure the office remains tidy and coordinate maintenance and cleaning services.
Required profile
- Matric certification with a valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
