Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical services at a site clinic in the Cederberg area for a three‑month period. The role begins on 3 August 2026 and involves delivering occupational health assessments, managing workplace injuries and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑employment, periodic and return‑to‑work health examinations.
• Assess and treat work‑related injuries and illnesses on site.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in line with SANC standards.
• Provide health education and advice to employees and management.
• Collaborate with the occupational health team to develop and implement health and safety policies.

Required profile

• Current SANC registration as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Relevant occupational health qualification or experience.
• Valid professional indemnity insurance.
• Proof of identity (ID/Passport) and work permit if applicable.
• Ability to provide a passport‑sized photo and banking details for payroll.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and diagnosis in occupational health settings.
• Knowledge of South African occupational health legislation.
• Documentation and record‑keeping using standard medical software.
