Night Care Assistant – Residential Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our residential care home. You will provide high‑quality, person‑centred care throughout the night, ensuring each resident feels safe, respected and comfortable.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, continence and dressing.
• Monitor residents continuously during night hours and perform regular safety checks.
• Support residents with eating and drinking, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment, including equipment and communal areas.
• Accurately record care activities and promptly report any changes in residents' condition to the person in charge.

Required profile

• Commitment to preserving residents' dignity and individuality at all times.
• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative team spirit.
• Willingness to work night shifts in a residential setting.
• Previous experience with older adults is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.

• Excellent verbal communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
