New Graduate Nurse Residency

About the role

This New Graduate Nurse Residency provides recent nursing graduates with a structured, hands‑on experience in a hospital setting. Under the guidance of a department manager or supervisor, you will deliver patient‑centered care while developing clinical competence.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and adjust patient care plans.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge patients while coordinating discharge planning with the care team.
• Document assessments and interventions in accordance with hospital policy.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly to appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to educate patients and families.
• Apply age‑specific standards of care for child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Current state RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• ACLS, PALS or TNCC certification as required by policy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand/walk for extended periods.
