National Technical Manager

About the role

The National Technical Manager is the executive technical authority for Voermol Feeds, responsible for the integrity of the product system across the entire value chain. This senior position ensures that formulation intent is consistently translated into high‑quality factory output and reliable market performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical execution across the full value chain, from raw material quality to feed performance in the market.
• Define, implement and enforce national technical and manufacturing standards across all plants.
• Drive system‑wide optimisation of cost, throughput and consistency, leading inter‑plant benchmarking and best‑practice transfer.
• Share direct accountability for batch accuracy, product uniformity and management of losses, rework and variability.
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership on the plant floor, identifying and addressing process deviations promptly.
• Act as the technical escalation authority for plant‑related failures.

Required profile

• Proven senior technical leadership experience in feed manufacturing or related industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of nutritional science, process engineering and quality systems.
• Ability to collaborate with operations, procurement and formulation teams to align standards and output.
• Track record of driving cost optimisation, throughput improvements and consistency across multiple sites.
