Musketeer - On Premise Sales, Gqeberha Central

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Musketeer for its Gqeberha Central territory. Musketeers are the main volume contributors and brand ambassadors in the On Premise environment (bars, restaurants, events, clubs and hospitality). They identify business opportunities in new outlets to drive current and future sales of the Red Bull product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with key influencers, outlet owners, bar staff, distributors, promoters and agencies, and act as the credible face of Red Bull On Premise.
• Know the territory well, follow company strategy and stay ahead of industry trends, accounts, occasions and consumers.
• Manage internal and external resources (materials, tools, budget) to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including artists, promoters and creatives.
• Deliver premium execution at Red Bull events and third-party events such as para-gastronomy and festivals.
• Negotiate win-win partnerships, identify sales and marketing occasions and turn insights into programmes that drive sales.
• Track, analyse and report on performance, growth and opportunities.

Required profile

• Matric required; university degree preferred.
• Sales and marketing experience preferred; hospitality, nightlife and/or FMCG experience preferred.
• Basic market knowledge of the local On Premise industry and community is beneficial.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently in a high-energy, fast-paced field environment.
• Strategic, commercially aware, with strong planning, prioritisation and analytical abilities.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Full working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (IOS).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and active listening skills.
