About the role

Metsimaholo Local Municipality is inviting applications for a wide range of permanent positions across its various directorates. Opportunities are available in Financial Services, Organisational Development and Corporate Services, Local Economic Development & Planning, Social Services, Technical and Infrastructural Services, and other support areas. Vacancies include roles such as Cashier, Switchboard Operator, Messenger/Driver, Caretaker, Traffic Wardens, Artisans, Team Leader, Heavy and Light Machine Operators, Refuse Removal Drivers, Factotums for Roads, Water and Sewer, Storemen, and Electrical Assistant. Positions are located primarily in Sasolburg, with some roles in Deneysville and Oranjeville. Candidates must submit a completed prescribed application form together with a comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, driver’s licence and identity document. All applications should be addressed to the Municipal Manager and submitted by the closing date of 20 April 2023. Shortlisted candidates will undergo qualification verification, reference checks and, where applicable, criminal record screening. Successful applicants will be required to sign an employment contract and disclose any financial interests before commencing duties.
