About the role

Metsimaholo Local Municipality is seeking suitably qualified individuals for a range of permanent positions across several directorates. Opportunities are available in Financial Services (Accountant – Expenditure, Salaries Clerk, Debt Collection Clerks), Organisational Development and Corporate Services (Admin Officer for Facilities, Printing Office & Accommodation), Local Economic Development & Planning (Admin Officer Urban Planning), Social Services (Superintendents, Assistant Superintendent and Traffic Officers, Fire Fighters, Control Room Operators, Secretary to the Director), and Technical & Infrastructural Services (Plumber Maintenance, Senior Plant Operators, Mechanics, Electricians). Applicants must complete the prescribed application form, attach a comprehensive CV, certified copies of qualifications, a driver’s licence and identity document, and ensure any foreign qualifications are evaluated by SAQA. Submissions are to be directed to the Municipal Manager at the municipality’s head office. Shortlisted candidates will undergo qualification verification, reference checks, criminal record checks where applicable, and a competency‑based assessment.
