Multi Skilled Operator

About the role

The Multi Skilled Operator is responsible for safely operating a range of heavy‑equipment machines to support construction and site‑maintenance activities. The role involves excavating trenches, cleaning spillages, connecting pipes, building deposition walls, and maintaining access roads.

Key responsibilities

• Operate FEL, TLB excavator, ADT, grader and water truck to load, dig, clean trenches, and maintain site infrastructure.
• Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each machine.
• Perform general housekeeping of the equipment and complete pre‑shift and post‑shift inspection checklists.
• Report any faults or problems to the supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations on site.
• Inspect equipment and the working area before each shift.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, lubrication, and fuel levels according to OEM specifications.
• Assist maintenance personnel with tasks when required.

Required profile

• Experience operating heavy‑equipment machines in a construction or similar environment.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety procedures consistently.
• Strong attention to detail for equipment inspections and reporting.
• Willingness to perform routine maintenance and assist the maintenance team.
