Module Coordinator & Lecturer – Electrical/Electronic Engineering

About the role

The university is seeking a dynamic Module Coordinator and Lecturer to lead the Electrical and Electronic Engineering curriculum. You will combine industry expertise with academic excellence to deliver high‑quality teaching and manage the module’s administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the Electrical/Electronic Engineering module, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Design and deliver undergraduate lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
• Develop assessment materials, mark assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain and enhance online learning environments and digital resources.
• Collaborate with industry partners to integrate practical insights into the curriculum.
• Monitor student progress, support diverse learning needs, and uphold academic integrity.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 8 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• At least three years of combined lecturing and industry experience in the relevant engineering fields.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays as required.
