Mobile .NET/MAUI Software Engineer

About the role

The Mobile .NET/MAUI Software Engineer will design, develop, enhance, maintain and support ODIN Checkpoint's mobile applications for Android and iOS. The role focuses on delivering a stable, scalable and high‑performance mobile platform that works reliably in demanding industrial environments with offline capability and strong backend integration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing functionality using .NET MAUI and C# for both Android and iOS.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, code quality, reusable component design and long‑term scalability.
• Implement and improve offline‑first behavior, local data storage, synchronization logic and background processing.
• Integrate the mobile app with backend APIs, authentication services, cloud services, file/media handling and push notifications.
• Investigate and resolve bugs, crashes, performance bottlenecks, sync issues and production incidents.
• Collaborate closely with product, QA, support, web and backend teams to deliver secure and production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• Formal tertiary education (Grade 12 diploma or degree) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 3‑7+ years of software development experience, with strong practical experience in mobile application development.
• Fluent English.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 8 minimum).
