Mobile Game Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Mobile Game Developer to join a global software leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on creating and optimizing 2D games using the Cocos2d-x framework for both mobile and web platforms, working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain game features with Cocos2d-x and C++.
• Optimize performance to ensure smooth gameplay across a range of devices.
• Debug and resolve issues in game logic, rendering, and physics.
• Collaborate with designers to integrate art assets and animations.
• Write unit tests and follow best coding practices to maintain code quality.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Cocos2d-x and C++ for game development.
• Experience with game physics, collision detection, and rendering.
• Familiarity with mobile game development and platform‑specific optimizations.
• Understanding of game design principles and asset integration.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
