About the role
TB HIV Care (THC) is seeking a reliable Mobile Driver to support its daily operations across South Africa. You will be responsible for transporting outreach teams, medical commodities, and equipment to various field locations while ensuring safety and punctuality.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, secure, and timely driving services for outreach teams and mobile health units.
- Transport medical supplies, equipment, and commodities between sites.
- Observe all road safety and traffic regulations at all times.
- Maintain the vehicle’s operational efficiency through regular checks and basic maintenance.
- Report any vehicle issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted service.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules.
- Willingness to travel to diverse locations, often in remote areas.
- Good communication skills for coordination with outreach teams.
Required skills
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Safe driving practices.
