Mobile Application Developer – Cross‑Platform (Angular/Ionic)

About the role

PathCare, a leading medical diagnostic services provider, is undertaking a major systems‑renewal project and needs a skilled Mobile Application Developer. You will design, build and maintain high‑performance cross‑platform applications that support the end‑to‑end specimen journey, from request to reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications using Angular, Capacitor and the Ionic UI framework.
• Implement responsive, high‑performance UI components following Angular best practices.
• Write clean, reusable, well‑documented code and associated test scripts that meet PathCare standards.
• Apply object‑oriented programming principles to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Debug, test and optimise applications for both web and mobile environments.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate REST APIs.
• Generate and manage builds with Android Studio and Xcode, and publish to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Provide accurate work estimates and deliver features on schedule.
• Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain applications and offer technical support for operational issues.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of professional mobile development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Innovative mindset and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
