Mixer Operator

About the role

RCL Foods is seeking a motivated Mixer Operator to join its food manufacturing plant in Tzaneen. The role involves operating mixers, monitoring production parameters, and ensuring product quality in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Report dirty work stations before the start of shifts.
• Verify that all machines are fully operational and report any issues immediately.
• Load premix and hand ingredients into the mixer and ensure the mixer is closed during operation.
• Monitor dough temperature and confirm correct batch numbers for all ingredients.
• Complete mixing records accurately and maintain production parameter charts.
• Analyse Certificate of Analysis (COA) documents.
• Keep the assigned work area clean, tidy, and free of potential contamination.
• Switch off all machines at the end of each shift and assist with any issues in the make‑up area.

Required profile

• Minimum education: Grade 12.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
