Mining Operator – LHD Equipment Operator

About the role

The Mining Operator – LHD is responsible for operating load‑haul‑dump equipment in a mining environment. The role focuses on safe, efficient material handling while supporting customer satisfaction and compliance with safety, health, environment and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in and comply with SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Quality) requirements, including the SHEQ Toolbox.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery.
• Complete pre‑start checklists before each shift.
• Load, haul, and dump various materials such as broken rock, waste, lumpy material, chips, and pebbles.
• Report defective or damaged machines promptly.
• Clear roadways of spillages and fly‑dust to maintain safe access.
• Adhere to PDS and VDS systems and follow traffic‑management procedures.
