Mini Bar Attendant

About the role

The Mini Bar Attendant ensures that every guest’s mini‑bar experience is seamless, stocked to the highest standards, and accurately billed. Working within the luxurious One&Only Cape Town, you will support the hospitality team by maintaining mini‑bars, handling guest requests, and contributing to an atmosphere of personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect arrival, departure, VIP and mini‑bar request lists from Reception before replenishing rooms.
• Keep mini‑bars clean and stocked according to One&Only standards, SOPs, and product lists.
• Replenish mini‑bars to par level daily and charge all consumed items immediately to the guest’s account.
• Record opening stock, current stock, replenished stock and actual stock accurately on stock sheets.
• Report to the IRD Supervisor or Manager at the start of each shift.
• Collect trolley keys, count and record opening stock with a colleague, and stock trolleys to required par levels.
• Follow fire and safety procedures, operate firefighting equipment, and report any equipment issues.
• Assist guests by being familiar with hotel facilities, daily events and functions.
• Attend all scheduled training sessions, briefings and perform any other reasonable duties assigned.

Required profile

• Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary workplace language.
• Positive, energetic, self‑motivated and presentable.
• Accurate numeracy skills, including addition and subtraction.
