Millwright – Maintenance & Installation Specialist

About the role

The Millwright will ensure that all plant machinery and equipment remain in optimal condition, supporting the company’s production targets. This hands‑on role combines routine maintenance, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of complex industrial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
• Install, commission and test new machinery and associated control systems.
• Conduct fault finding on programmed logical control circuits (PLC’s).
• Fit, inspect, test and repair MCC panels, wiring systems and other electrical equipment.
• Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs.
• Dismantle, fit and assemble machinery components and parts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Trade N3 qualification.
• Strong knowledge of AIB & FSSC 22000 standards and OSHA regulations.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• MCC panel installation and electrical wiring.
• Pneumatic and hydraulic system repair.
• Mechanical assembly and disassembly.
• Fault finding on industrial control circuits.
