About the role

A Messenger is needed to join the team at the PathCare Milnerton branch in Cape Town. The role suits someone with a high level of ethics and integrity who aligns with the PathCare values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver specimens, reports and other items while providing good customer care
• Handle basic housekeeping

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Fluent English with an understanding of Afrikaans
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Acceptable performance record on the behavioural competencies for the position
• Advantageous: basic computer literacy, customer service experience and pathology experience

Required skills

• Client-focused with attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Initiative, ability to work under pressure alone and in a team, and a positive, flexible attitude
