Medical Device Sales Representative – Western Cape

About the role

Our client in the medical devices and healthcare industry is seeking a driven, customer‑focused Sales Representative to grow specialised portfolios across Gastrointestinal, Respiratory, Endo Therapy, Infection Prevention and Capital Equipment solutions in the Western Cape.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve territory targets across assigned medical device and capital equipment portfolios.
• Develop and execute territory plans, identify new business opportunities, and expand existing customer accounts.
• Provide product demonstrations, in‑servicing, clinical support, and training to healthcare professionals.
• Support capital equipment sales processes, including quotations, negotiations, tenders, and customer presentations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, hospital management, and key opinion leaders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to support strategic sales initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in medical device sales or a related healthcare environment.
• Proven track record within endoscopy, infection prevention or capital equipment sales.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
