Marketing Strategist & Manager – Remote (Australian business hours)

About the role

Our client, an Australian‑based business, is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Strategist & Manager to own the end‑to‑end marketing strategy. Working remotely on Australian business hours, you will partner closely with the founders to drive content, paid social, automation and event initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall content strategy and editorial calendar.
• Plan, build, test and optimise Meta paid campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
• Transform organic assets into paid creative and run A/B tests.
• Manage GoHighLevel for lead nurturing, follow‑up and marketing automations.
• Oversee database segmentation, tagging and engagement workflows.
• Create and execute email nurture, promotional and event campaigns.
• Coordinate marketing and operational aspects of events.
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
• Support the founders’ personal brands and align them with the business.
• Track performance metrics, produce monthly reports and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience running Meta paid advertising (Facebook & Instagram).
• Strong working knowledge of GoHighLevel and marketing automation.
• Practical experience in digital marketing and content strategy.
• Solid understanding of lead generation, nurture and database marketing.
• Highly organised, commercially minded and able to work independently with founders.
