Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The ICT distribution organisation is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events for multiple brands and vendors. You will act as the central point for coordinating marketing activities, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget and generate measurable ROI.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing plans and go‑to‑market action plans for various brands and vendors.
• Coordinate, organise and manage corporate events, from brief to execution, ensuring professional delivery.
• Run vendor marketing initiatives including demand‑generation campaigns, digital promotions, incentives and floor‑day activities.
• Identify and implement process, content and lead‑generation improvements to boost efficiency.
• Support sales through content creation, reseller enablement messaging and targeted remarketing campaigns.
• Conduct market research, analyse sell‑out reports and measure campaign effectiveness.
• Administer vendor claims, proof‑of‑execution reporting and maintain accurate purchase orders in Sage.
• Record meeting minutes, prepare PowerPoint presentations and write proposals.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing role with proven execution of marketing plans.
• At least 2 years of experience in traditional and digital marketing, content creation and social‑media management.
• 3+ years of experience planning and executing corporate events and managing suppliers.
• Strong background in market research, data analytics and measuring campaign performance.
• Familiarity with vendor portals and experience in the IT industry is an advantage.
