Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Treasury and Financial Risk Management projects across multiple clients.
• Design and review treasury governance frameworks, policies, and risk‑management processes.
• Advise on liquidity risk, funding risk, capital management, ALM, FTP, and hedging strategies.
• Gather and document business requirements while managing stakeholder expectations and regulatory considerations.
• Support treasury system implementations, enhancements, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Drive business development initiatives through proposal preparation, thought leadership, and client engagement.
• Coach and develop junior team members while contributing to the growth of the practice.

Required profile

• Education: BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field; CA(SA), CFA, FRM or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Treasury, Financial Risk Management, Banking, Consulting or Advisory environments.
• Strong exposure to Treasury Risk, Liquidity Risk, Market Risk, ALM, Funding and Balance‑Sheet Management.
• Experience managing projects and engaging with senior stakeholders; consulting experience is a plus.
• Non‑negotiables: sound understanding of the regulatory environment for financial institutions, strong project‑management and leadership capabilities, ability to handle multiple engagements and build client relationships.
