Manager, Supplier Enablement Agriculture

About the role

This is a full-time position within the Commercial Asset Finance (CAF) team of a major financial services group, based in Gauteng. The role sits at the intersection of strategic relationship management and the agricultural sector, driving business growth through third-party partnerships. It is described as the engine behind the company's agricultural finance strategy, identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with external suppliers and partners to expand the penetration of financial products in the agricultural market.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-level relationships with third-party suppliers to foster business origination.
• Promote sector-specific value propositions so that market share grows consistently.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to provincial sales teams.
• Analyse market trends and internal product papers to stay ahead of competitors.
• Oversee the risk profile of third-party partnerships, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
• Work with cross-functional departments so that financial products fit the needs of agricultural businesses.

Required profile

• Completed first degree in Business or Commerce.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, especially in business solutions and commercial banking.
• Proven track record managing alliances, joint ventures and third-party relationships in asset finance.
• Ability to drive sales teams and influence stakeholders across corporate levels.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the financial regulatory framework, brand management and business analysis in a banking environment.
• Strong communication skills, including articulating complex information and building professional rapport.
