Manager Clinical Data Management

About the role

EDETEK is seeking an experienced Manager of Clinical Data Management to lead its clinical data operations and implement systems. The role combines hands-on data management expertise with strong leadership, ensuring quality and timely delivery of data management solutions. It is advertised as remote, with occasional travel of about 5%.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee data management projects so they meet quality standards, are delivered on schedule and satisfy clients.
• Contribute to the implementation of the CONFORM eClinical system, including design specifications for forms and reports and user acceptance testing.
• Stay hands-on with day-to-day data management operations and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, discussing requirements and resolving issues.
• Select, interview, train and mentor junior team members.
• Help maintain systems and infrastructure supporting project operations.
• Keep all required documentation filed according to industry standards.
• Work with Clinical Data Specialists to develop and execute Data Management Plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• At least two years of experience in clinical trials, clinical data management or a similar role.
• Experience with the start-up and wrap-up phases of in-house and client-specific data management projects is highly valued.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Data Management practices and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of therapeutic indications, study hypotheses, trial designs and database design is beneficial.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly in English, with attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (about 5%).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Electronic Data Capture (EDC) studies and SAS.
• Practical experience with the MS Office Suite.
