Management Accountant – Manager

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) to lead its management accounting function within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis and strategic insight to support senior management decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse management reports, board packs, budgets and daily performance dashboards.
• Lead a team of Management Accountants, ensuring timely delivery of KPI‑driven reports.
• Conduct financial analysis, cost assessments and variance analysis to identify operational improvements.
• Oversee the full finance function, including internal and external audits, tax and VAT compliance, and bank signatory duties.
• Develop long‑term forecasts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts, and monitor budgetary control.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification, fully registered.
• Minimum 5 years of management accounting experience in manufacturing.
• At least 3 years of staff management experience.
• Willingness to relocate and attend a final interview in KZN at own cost.
• Clear criminal record.
