Logistics & Trading Coordinator – Import/Export Specialist

About the role

Our client, a leading mining and commodities company, is looking for a dynamic Logistics & Trading Coordinator to manage import‑export operations and support marketing, trading and contract activities. The role is based in Rosebank and requires hands‑on experience with exporting goods to China. The successful candidate will act as a key link between the trading desk and logistics providers, ensuring smooth flow of goods and information.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics for mineral shipments, including import and export documentation.
• Support marketing and trading teams by ensuring timely delivery of commodities to customers.
• Manage contract administration and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor compliance with export regulations, particularly for shipments destined for China.
• Track shipment status, resolve delays, and continuously improve logistics processes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logistics records and reports.
