Logistics Coordinator

About the role
The client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team in Johannesburg, with an expected start date in the last week of June. This role will support the efficient flow of goods, inventory accuracy and financial invoicing within the supply chain. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse staff, procurement and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate stock records.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and control inventory, allocating inventory costs accurately.
- Update and maintain both inbound and outbound inventory records.
- Release inventory to cold stores as required.
- Invoice clients for collected or delivered stock.
- Allocate stock movement batches and capture them in the inventory system.
- Generate sales and purchase orders.
- Produce regular reports on inventory and logistics performance.
Required profile
- Diploma in Procurement & Supply Chain Management (highly advantageous).
