Logistics Clerk – Non AA – R12k‑15k – Pretoria West

About the role

We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Logistics Clerk to join our fast‑paced team. The role involves coordinating deliveries, handling customer orders and providing logistics administration across sales, operations, warehouse and transport functions.

Key responsibilities

• Take general sales enquiries from the switchboard and monitor the customer portal for new orders.
• Capture orders in ODOO, update the regional whiteboard and book deliveries using Airtable.
• Schedule daily delivery runs, arrange trucks and external transport contractors, and map routes for drivers.
• Prepare load spreadsheets, ensure geyser and accessory orders are ready, count and verify orders before loading.
• Dispatch trucks, monitor departures and update delivery information on the whiteboard.
• Collect and upload Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to ODOO, process credit requests and arrange credits for pricing variances.
• Report warehouse stock levels, generate open‑order, invoiced sales and sales‑history reports for operations and sales teams.
• Arrange Courier Guy shipments and collections, and perform general logistics and administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent; this is a Non‑AA (non‑BBBEE) appointment.
• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, transport, warehouse or supply‑chain environments is preferred.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
