Logistics Administrator

About the role

An opportunity is available for a detail‑oriented and organised Logistics Administrator to join a Johannesburg‑based operation. The role provides administrative and operational support across imports, exports, air‑freight and sea‑freight, ensuring shipments are tracked and documentation is accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Track and trace air‑freight and sea‑freight shipments, monitoring status and resolving any delays.
• Complete import and export clearing and delivery instructions, preparing necessary customs paperwork.
• Capture and maintain logistics information on the SAP system, ensuring data integrity.
• Assist Warehouse Managers with export orders, coordinating with internal teams.
• Prepare accurate shipping and freight documentation for all movements.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with freight forwarding agents.
• Support the Finance Department by providing documentation required for submission to SARS.

Required profile

• Matric qualification with 1–3 years of freight experience.
• Proven experience in imports and exports, considered essential.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of logistics operations and strong attention to detail.

What we offer
