Litigation Attorney (RL 08)

About the role

Our client is an established law firm in Pretoria seeking a Litigation Attorney to manage and represent clients in court proceedings. The role involves delivering high‑quality legal advice, handling complex litigation matters, and building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and handle litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Prepare legal documentation and court papers.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify and bring new matters and clients to the firm.
• Maintain litigation files and meet all deadlines.

Required profile

• Completed LLB degree.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience after admission as an attorney.
• Strong knowledge and experience in litigation processes.
• Experience with court proceedings and litigation files.
• Commercial or corporate experience is advantageous.
• Insolvency experience is advantageous.
• Current practising attorney.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and deliver top‑quality work.
• Leadership, strong administrative, and problem‑solving abilities.
