Line Coordinator – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

As a Line Coordinator you will ensure that production runs safely, smoothly and efficiently on the shop‑floor. You will lead the team, enforce PMI standards and continuously look for improvements in safety, quality and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily safety activities such as Incident Elimination and 5S, promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Oversee quality checks (FPQ, QIE, VFI), maintain accurate data in MES, LES, MPA and SPA systems and act swiftly on any quality issues.
• Drive the line to meet daily production plans, conduct shift handovers, support planned maintenance and changeovers.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, identify production losses and support cost‑improvement initiatives.
• Motivate, coach and develop the team, encourage cross‑training and foster clear communication and accountability.

Required profile

• National Diploma or BTech in Engineering or Operations Management.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.

Required skills

• Familiarity with production systems: MES, MPA, SPA, LES, SAP.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
