Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator

About the role

The Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator will coordinate, implement and continuously improve learning, development, talent acquisition and transformation initiatives across Staff Unlimited. The role supports the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to succession planning, while ensuring compliance with Workplace Skills Plans, SETA, B‑BBEE and ESG requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer training programs, workshops and e‑learning initiatives.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis and identify skills gaps across departments.
• Develop training calendars, schedules and manage logistics for all sessions.
• Maintain accurate training records, evaluations and reporting metrics.
• Collaborate with managers to align development initiatives with business goals.
• Design and update learner guides, manuals and digital learning resources.
• Manage the Learning Management System and track employee progress.
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Support succession planning and career development initiatives.
• Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
• Support end‑to‑end recruitment activities including advertising, sourcing, screening and interview coordination.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and frequently recruited positions.
• Conduct preliminary candidate assessments and reference checks.
