Learnership: Call Centre / Control Centre Operator

About the role

Tracker Connect offers a 12-month Call Centre / Control Centre Learnership aimed at unemployed South African youth interested in customer service. Participants are placed in Customer Experience and 24-Hour Critical Services Control Centres, gaining practical experience in customer engagement, communication, sales support, problem solving and business systems. The programme is a full qualification of 132 credits combining unit-standard learning with workplace experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective first-contact and one-stop customer resolution
• Capture and update customer information
• Handle customer queries and electronic communication
• Develop knowledge of Tracker products, services and systems
• Upsell and cross-sell relevant products and services
• Understand invoices, adjustments, advance payments, credit notes and payment allocations
• Support data integrity initiatives, contracting and scheduling
• Develop problem-solving and customer relationship management skills

Required profile

• South African citizen with a valid ID, aged 18 to 35, with no criminal record
• Currently unemployed, not studying full-time and with no previous formal work experience
• Matric; minimum Level 4 English and a pass in mathematics or mathematics literacy
• Preference given to applicants from designated groups
