Lead Quality Engineer / Auditor (Supplier Quality, Network Cables)

About the role

The Lead Quality Engineer / Auditor will conduct supplier quality and manufacturing process audits for network cable products. The position involves a short, two‑day audit assignment in South Africa, focusing on the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) against ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Quality System Assessments (QSA) on supplier facilities.
• Audit supplier processes against ISO 9001 and ISO 9000 requirements.
• Evaluate product-specific controls for network cables.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure audit outcomes align with corporate quality objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supplier quality auditing, preferably within the network cable industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 9000 and Quality System Assessment methodology.
• Ability to assess manufacturing processes and product compliance.
