Lead Developer – Web Platform Technical Lead

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership for a multi‑site, global web platform. The role will own the architecture, set technical standards, and guide development across legacy CMS and modern frameworks while collaborating with distributed teams and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own web architecture and technical standards for the global platform.
• Guide development across legacy CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress) and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js).
• Review code, mentor senior, mid‑level and junior developers, and make decisions on tooling and best practices.
• Partner with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines, manage environments, and ensure reliability.
• Support planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment for projects.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure consistency and quality across all web properties.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong experience with React and/or Vue.js.
• Solid background with Drupal and WordPress.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, decision‑making, and ownership mindset.
