Lead Developer (Web Platform)

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership for a multi‑site, global web platform. You will own the architecture, set technical standards, and champion development best practices while collaborating with distributed teams and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own web architecture and technical standards.
• Guide development across legacy CMS platforms (Drupal, WordPress) and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js).
• Review code, mentor senior, mid‑level, and junior developers.
• Make decisions on tooling, frameworks, and best practices.
• Partner with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, environments, and reliability.
• Support planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Ensure consistency and quality across all web properties.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong experience with React and/or Vue.js.
• Solid background with Drupal and WordPress.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Strong communication, decision‑making, and ownership mindset.
