L&D Technical Facilitator

About the role

The Learning & Development (L&D) Technical Facilitator will drive a culture of continuous learning at Tharisa Minerals by planning, coordinating and delivering high‑quality training and assessments. The role ensures all programmes align with the company’s people development philosophy and comply with internal quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Stay updated on mining industry trends, emerging technologies and safety practices to inform L&D strategies.
• Coordinate, deliver and monitor training sessions and assessments, ensuring fairness, transparency and validity.
• Evaluate learning programmes by tracking participant performance and providing feedback.
• Maintain and troubleshoot relevant learning systems.
• Develop, review and update training schedules, ensuring timely delivery of workshops, classes and assessments.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions that meet defined objectives.
• Conduct valid and current assessments in line with organisational goals.
• Collaborate with the L&D Specialist to create and refresh learning materials.
• Monitor compliance with Tharisa Minerals policies, legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Collect feedback, participate in L&D audits and report non‑compliance for corrective action.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in training facilitation and assessment within a technical or mining environment.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety practices and industry developments.
• Ability to manage training schedules and adhere to strict timelines.
• Problem‑solving aptitude for system‑related issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
