KZN Sales Manager - Industrial & Welding Supplies

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced KZN Sales Manager to lead sales growth across industrial consumables, welding supplies, abrasives and safety equipment. The role focuses on B2B relationships with contractors and large industrial customers in sectors such as shipbuilding, petro‑chemical, construction and power generation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Manage and grow key accounts, including national contractors and industrial clients.
• Promote and sell industrial consumables, welding products, abrasives and safety gear.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Coordinate with operations and service teams to ensure reliable customer support.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and manage the sales pipeline.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
• Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to deliver consistent results.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of industrial consumables, welding products, abrasives and safety equipment.
• Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• High energy, target‑driven and results‑focused.
