Key Accounts Executive - Africa

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Accounts Executive to manage and grow strategic blue‑chip client relationships across multiple African markets. Based in Durban, you will travel extensively (approximately every six weeks) to meet senior marketing and brand managers, ensuring high‑impact delivery of our marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets for assigned African territories.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing blue‑chip clients, focusing on retention and upselling.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
• Conduct regular client visits and maintain a strong market presence.

Required profile

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Africa (approximately every six weeks).
• Positive, energetic and team‑oriented personality.
• High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal effectiveness.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s licence and passport.
• Proven experience managing key accounts and large corporate clients.
• Demonstrated success selling products or solutions into African markets.
