Key Account Manager

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a Key Account Manager to join its Key Accounts team in Midrand. Reporting to the Customer Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and profitability across national and regional customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual Customer Business Plans aligned with volume, value and market‑share targets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure plan delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with national and regional customers to create long‑term partnerships.
• Achieve revenue and margin goals through pricing strategy, pack/channel mix optimisation and promotional execution.
• Lead category growth initiatives, consumer‑centric campaigns and product activation aligned to brand and occasion frameworks.
• Analyse market insights and customer performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimise ROI.
• Manage new product launches and portfolio expansion within key accounts, supported by tailored trade promotions.
• Ensure financial governance, compliance with trading terms, pricing, credit policies and resolve related issues.

Required profile

• A formal 3‑year degree in Commercial or a related field.
• Post‑graduate studies such as a Master’s in Business Administration are advantageous.
• Proven experience in strategic account planning, revenue growth management and cross‑functional collaboration.
