Key Account Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our Commercial department. You will be responsible for growing the PAXI customer base, negotiating deals and delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Meet financial budgets for the fiscal year.
• Develop business proposals and onboard new partners.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance and Legal on product and contract compliance.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Work with Marketing to create dynamic campaigns.
• Manage projects within the portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, scope and cost.
• Maintain regular meetings and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Complete administrative tasks promptly and negotiate new merchant contracts.
• Drive continuous improvement and growth of the portfolio.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom degree).
• 3‑5 years of experience in retail, fintech or courier services.
• Excellent negotiation abilities.
• Project‑management experience is an advantage.
• Product‑management experience, including financial business cases and analysis.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office or G‑Suite.
