Junior SQL Graduate Position

About the role

Our client, a leading Insurtech company expanding across Europe, Africa and beyond, is looking for recent graduates with a passion for SQL to join the Solution Development team. You will work hybrid (2 days onsite) from Stellenbosch or Rosebank, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert software support to insurers, brokers and MGAs, designing and implementing tailored solutions.
• Document solutions clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Develop and execute user test plans for new features.
• Assist clients with feature enhancements and manage additional requests.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of requirements.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents or bugs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with an IT qualification or at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Enjoy working with technical concepts, code and data analysis.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and a desire to learn new technologies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude.
