Junior Software Developer – C#/.NET

About the role

We are a well‑established technology company seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our Pretoria team. The role offers the chance to work on real‑world C#/.NET applications, collaborate with experienced developers, and grow your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance software applications using clean, maintainable C# code.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and documentation of technical solutions.
• Write and maintain WinForms interfaces within the .NET framework.
• Work with SQL Server databases, creating queries and supporting data‑driven features.
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, and assist with software deployment and support.
• Maintain existing applications and databases, and contribute to system improvements and upgrades.
• Support quality‑assurance activities and provide user training as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of practical software development experience.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• .NET WinForms development.
• SQL Server and relational database knowledge.
