Junior Quantity Surveyor – Entry Level

About the role

Capital Civil Building Construction is looking for an energetic, detail‑oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its contracting team. This entry‑level position is ideal for a recent graduate or a professional with up to two years of experience who wants hands‑on exposure to site and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff with project administration and commercial management.
• Take off quantities accurately from construction drawings and plans.
• Compile and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Measure, capture and track on‑site quantities for progress claims and valuations.
• Support estimating, cost calculations and preparation of monthly cost reports.
• Liaise with sub‑contractors, site managers and suppliers regarding material allocations and measurements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed work against project targets.

Required profile

• BSc or BTech degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Interest or basic exposure to the contracting/construction environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for site travel.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with industry software such as WinQS.
• Knowledge of Candy (CCS) is an advantage.
