Junior Quantity Surveyor (Construction Support Manager)

About the role

The Junior Quantity Surveyor (Construction Support Manager) is a full‑time, on‑site position supporting project teams across several South African locations. You will work closely with project managers, site crews and suppliers to ensure accurate cost planning and control throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for new projects.
• Track project expenditures and update cost reports regularly.
• Support budget forecasts and monitor cost variations.
• Collaborate with project managers, site teams and suppliers to verify quantities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Contribute to financial progress reporting and assist with tender evaluations.
• Help ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
