Junior QA Engineer – Guidewire Testing

About the role

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our Guidewire/Insurance team. You will work closely with business analysts and developers to ensure that new functionality meets quality standards and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases.
• Design and execute functional, regression, and non‑functional test scenarios.
• Create and maintain test data, document test results and provide clear coverage feedback.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate failures and drive defect resolution.
• Develop automation scripts following Guidewire best practices.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scaled Agile Framework and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent testing qualification.
