Junior Product Owner

About the role

We are seeking an innovative and self‑motivated Junior Product Owner to join our Johannesburg office. You will support the senior Product Owner in shaping the product roadmap, collaborating with business leaders and development teams, and ensuring timely delivery of features.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior Product Owner in developing and prioritising the product roadmap and backlog.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and work with internal and external teams to deliver solutions.
• Research new feature requirements, define UX/UI concepts, and participate in design sessions.
• Define acceptance criteria, support UAT testing, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Manage stakeholder communication, report progress, risks and bottlenecks to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong competency in business process design and analysis.
• Ability to see the big picture and propose improvement solutions.
