Junior Operational Accountant

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Junior Operational Accountant to join our team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The role supports operational performance through accurate financial reporting, reconciliations and cost analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare reconciliations, journals and month‑end reports.
- Manage debtors, creditors and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, cost analysis and financial reporting.
- Support stock control, customer billing and payroll reconciliations.
- Ensure VAT compliance while identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
Required profile
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping (BCom advantageous).
- 3+ years’ experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics or a similar operational environment is advantageous.
