About the role
A client based in Bloemfontein is looking for a Junior IT Installer to join its team. The position is permanent, pays a basic monthly salary of R 15 000 to R 20 000 (with pension fund), and is available as soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
- Install, terminate and test CAT6 and fibre cabling.
- Mount and connect devices such as cameras, Wi-Fi access points, switches and network cabled equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in cabling, devices or system configuration.
- Pull, route, label and secure cables according to standards and site requirements.
- Terminate cables in patch panels, cabinets and equipment rooms.
- Maintain and record equipment and stock levels.
Required profile
- National Senior Certificate (equivalent to NQF4).
- 3 years of working experience in an IT environment.
- At least 2 years of exposure to IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV and fibre installations.
- Valid RSA driver's licence with own transport.
